Catching up

Well there is really no good way to catch up from 2 months of having a toddler. I wanted to get on here and write down some of the funny things she has said lately.

While praying "Thank you Jesus for Mommy, Kenzie, and chocolate. AMEN"

When daddy did something she did not like "Daddy ANN (last name)" It is funny that she used her middle name.

One of BB's friends that is a boy told his mom yesterday "BB is pretty". They are only 2!

One of BB's latest things is getting out of bed and playing in the middle of the night. Often I will find her conked out on the floor asleep. Last night however she decided to play with her Busy Ball Popper. It makes noise. It woke me up at 4:30! I went into her room and told her firmly "GO TO BED". I went to the restroom and what do you think I heard THE BUSY BALL POPPER! I was able to compose myself and discipline her without being angry. I did get into bed and told DH that if she got out of bed he had to deal with her.

BB is becoming very helpful around the house. She likes loading clothes in the washer. If I put a stack of clothes on the floor and set up the stool she'll load it "all by myself". I can then be just a few feet away and load the dishwasher. She also like to unload the dishwasher. This is a little more stressful, but I just let her pick up a dish and hand it to me right away. If it is a plastic container or a cutting board I'll let her put that away "MYSELF"
